WHAT TO EXPECT
Our process is designed to move at your pace. Some people are ready to begin immediately. Others want to talk, ask questions, and think things through. We welcome both. Here’s how it works:
the admissions process
Initial Contact
You reach out - by phone, email, or our contact form. We’ll take it from there.
PHONE SCREENING
One of our admissions professionals will talk with you about your mental health or substance use history, your current challenges, and your goals. This is also when we gather your insurance information to begin the benefits verification process.
CLINICAL REVIEW AND APPROVAL
Our clinical and medical teams review your case. If our program is a fit, you’ll be approved for admission. If it turns out you need a different level of care, we’ll help with referrals and next steps.
ADMISSION
Once approved and insurance is confirmed, we’ll coordinate your start date and welcome you into the program.
Insurance and cost
We know that navigating insurance can be overwhelming. That’s why we handle the heavy lifting for you. Our admissions and billing teams will keep you informed every step of the way.
Here’s how we work with insurance:
Verification of Benefits (VOB): We contact your insurance provider to understand your coverage.
Confirmation of Coverage: We explain what’s covered, what isn’t, and what your potential out-of-pocket costs might be.
Authorization and Enrollment: Once approved, we get you scheduled and ready to begin.
Note: We are currently out-of-network with most insurance plans but can often work with your benefits. We do not currently accept OHP, but may in the future.
We know how many questions can arise during this process. We’ll answer some common questions below, and encourage you to reach out to our admissions team for more information specific to you.
