Intensive Outpatient Program
For when weekly therapy isn’t enough, but leaving home isn’t an option
Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers a deeper level of care for adults navigating mental health challenges and addiction. IOP provides meaningful support while allowing you to stay grounded in your daily life.
- Three-hour group sessions, three times a week
- Weekly individual therapy
- Access to psychiatric care and optional integrative services
Adults (18+) who meet ASAM Level 2.1 criteria and need more than traditional outpatient support
Structured, consistent care in a non-residential setting – so you can heal without putting your life on hold

Outpatient Therapy
A starting point or a step-down
Our outpatient services are best for individuals who don’t require the intensity of IOP. You’ll meet one-on-one with a licensed therapist and may participate in light group programming, depending on your needs.
- Individual therapy sessions (typically weekly)
- One to three hours of group therapy weekly
- Optional psychiatric support
- Those with mild mental health or substance use concerns
- Clients who have completed IOP and are seeking ongoing, step-down support
Offers focused support with flexibility and minimal disruption

Assessment and Referral
If our program is the right fit, we’ll map out a personalized treatment plan.
If you need a different level of care – higher or lower – we’ll help you find the right resource.
If you aren’t ready to begin care right away, we’ll be here when you are.
A Note on Referrals: If we determine that Bright Sky isn’t the best fit—due to clinical needs, insurance coverage, or other reasons—we’ll guide you to a more appropriate provider. That might mean inpatient treatment, medical detox, or another specialized service. No matter what, we’ll help ensure you land in the right place.

Ongoing Care Planning
As you near the end of your program, we’ll work with you to design a realistic, holistic plan to support your recovery over the long term.
Your ongoing care plan may include:
- Continued therapy or psychiatry
- Peer support groups and community resources
- Relapse prevention strategies
- Consideration of advanced modalities like TMS, if appropriate
Your journey doesn’t end here – and you don’t have to walk it alone.
